Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
This was an estate sale that Annie and I looked at a year or so ago in central Illinois. This guy had all kinds of Challengers, Cudas, Chevelles and El Caminos, Impala SS's, a couple of early Vettes and a ton of parts inside a barn including many NOS (Cuda fenders, quarters, Cuda rocker trim and a grill) A bunch of used parts, doors, hoods, bumpers grills, wheels, manifolds, etc, etc, etc. It took an entire day to go through everything. He also had some signage and literature. Neat stuff and lots of junk as well.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Here is an Impala SS 396, 4-speed, white bucket interior, a 68 SS396 convertible (hood was inside the barn) with a 1995 Car Craft Participant decal on the windshield. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
Last on is a 70 SS396 Camino. Many wrong parts but pretty complete. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n..._Illinois2.jpg |
Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
Last ones from that location. A big block tunnel ram engine, a very early modified Vette and an early Formula hood now worth lots of money. This hood was in very good shape. The barn was full of engine parts of all varieties, heads, intakes, carbs, pulleys, water pumps, oil pans, valve covers, etc.

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
And my favorite from an undisclosed location, how about a 97% numbers matching Impala SS427 L72 convertible. The body on this car was VERY rough (trust me) and a bent frame but the car was ALL there. For the most part this car was completely original sans repaint, radiator and fan and was unrestored. Pretty neat to say the least. I would really like to own this car some day............ https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Where in central IL? What town?

Re: ROTTING MUSCLECARS
This Cuda has been sitting in Northern Westchester,NY for years. It's obvious I was not the only one in the past that went to the door to ask and get turned away. Lettering on winhshield tells it all, including not to call.
