Re: Name that Tune!
You're right Rick...too many years/beers ago? What do any of you US guys know of Max Webster as it's often sporadic what Canada groups made it through to the US markets? ~Pete |
Re: Name that Tune!
Max Webster...as in Kim Mitchell (Go for a soda)?
We saw Kim Mitchell and the Fabulous Thunderbirds open up for Bryan Adams at the Pacific Ampitheater in the "Summer of 85"... I can remember the date clearly as Bryan replaced " Summer of 69" with "Summer of 85"...Kim was wearing all pink...with high top tennis shoes... And was really skinny! |
Re: Name that Tune!
He's still really skinny 30 years later!LOL!

Re: Name that Tune!
Kim's the greatest guy musically also to talk to in person too but I always preferred the earlier Webster era music over his later 'more poppy' solo career. Lots of Max Webster links on YouTube, here's one... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SI6UuwQtcUE ~ Pete |

I thought I read somewhere that he just retired? Or maybe it was a friend who was a radio DJ told me? |
