------Guys,,,That car came out of the Detroit area and went south to Texas where the current member had it. I didnt know he sold it but apparently he did and now the next guy is selling. I know the car and it is very, very nice. It was at the Nova Nationals and did very well just last year.......Bill S

Re: Anyone know this L-78 Nova???
I have seen a few very early 1971 models that had 1970 clear parking light lens and 1970 rear tail lights. My understanding that GM were using up 1970 Nova parts and they had a strike when they were building 1971 Novas. I even saw a 12 Bolt in an original early built Nova SS 350. 1971 was a oddball year and the 396 was gone for good in Novas. I also saw a early built 1971 Nova with a big block heater core box. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Re: Anyone know this L-78 Nova???
I don't agree....he would be selling short given the caliber and pedigree of that car. I have seen it in person many times and it is a great car. The economy is obviously having an impact on prices, but high quality cars like this should command a premium.

Re: Anyone know this L-78 Nova???
That was my car.It is a fantastic car.It is the real deal and has a beautiful original interior. He paid a lot more than his reserve. The original owner could still be contacted when I owned it.Some of you may remember when I had it at Vettefest in 2007 where it got a Gold Spinner. If anyone has questions please feel free to send me a PM.
