Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Is the bottom of the car black or green? Or is that just green over spary? Is it a 68 or 69?

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Actually, the bottom is black and will have green overspray, but not yet. Not sure why there's a green tint to the pictures. Guess the camera needed to warm up after coming in from -10.

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
IT doesnt matter. It still looks great!

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Going to be a Day-2 nova? Match the picture, it would look great IMO! Will be at MCACN this year? Go Schonye go, Go Schonye go!! HA

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
In my advanced old age, I kinda like getting in a warm truck.
Sammy, Mr. Foreman is thinking that it should be a "as sold new" condition as it's an original drive line car, but I'm sure he'd be glad to hear your input. I think he's hopeing that someone may buy it well before the MCACN. I might just be bringing the 1st lady to MCACN this year. |

IMO if its a numbers car how can you hurt it unless you flair the wheel wells or something. If it is like Sam's Deuce or Alan's orange nova it will attract way more attention than another cookie cutter resto. But again its just MO. |
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Sammy's going to Day 2 his Nova!

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
NEVER! That is what the camaro is for. A survivor to me is a different story IMO.

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Sammy, that Nova is a cream puff! Keep that cat in the trunk!

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
this is the fourth car that ken and his crew have restored for me.......
they find ways to make each restoration better than the one before and you will not find a more dedicated crew anywhere, they simply love the cars and take great satisfaction and pride in their work |
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
I agree Alan! They got a tough boss in the First Lady. Gotta toe the mark!

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
A great group of Guys! Always a positive buzz around that shop. If you get a car restored at Schoenthalers you also get a months supply of your favorite cottage cheese compliments of the First Lady! MMMMMMMM
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Sammy...I don't think anyone has a "buzz" around that shop...at least not during working hours

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
But Tommy, do YOU really know?

Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Mayor, send it out to IA. we'll put some paint on it. We get a lot of East coast visitors. If Tom's observations of the Bush lite box are in reference to the "buzz". That belongs to the 1st lady. She leaves those all over the place.
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Schonye - is she still throwin' the empties and your noggin?
|
Re: busy boys in donahue / fathom nova
Yep. Good thing she doesn't like bottles.
