Anyone Know David Steele from MA/PA?
 

Does anyone know a David Steele from MA or PA? He has a business called Tool World. I did a deal with him on a dual quad setup. The dual quad deal went OK although his was a bit slow on his part. After that deal was done I made a deal with him on a Rochester FI setup. I sent him thousands of dollars for this unit and it has been 2 months. I've gotten lots of excuses but no parts. I paid with USPS postal money orders so I am filing a postal fraud report. Other than that, I'm ready to call an attorney before too much time goes by. Anyone know this guy?

I'd imagine the same law enforcement guys that prosecuted him the first time would be interested in his recent activity since he is probably still on probation for the previous crimes. You may want to give them a call.

I did that already and received a message back. I plan to call them tomorrow. They did seem quite interested in looking into this.My primary concern is getting my parts or money back. It would also be nice to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else, AGAIN.

I was wondering if you could tell me the result of your fraud complaint. I have recently paid $350 for a part from Steele, and after it was not delivered and my money was not refunded, I filed complaints with MA attorney general and internet for fraud.

Unfortunately nothing. The police in Luzerne, PA were supposed to arrest him but not will not return my calls. Pretty rediculous.

Thank you for responding. Does Steele live in PA, and would it be of any use if I called the Luzerne police to report another case of fraud? I do not think I will get my money back, but it seems that this guy continues to scam people.

Susan, respectfully, you should absolutely call and file a complaint. Even if the police won't do anything, that shouldn't stop you from complaining to them and anyone else you can find.

Yes, please call the Luzerne/Burro Police Dept. and talk to a Corporal Sallo(Spelling?). Maybe it will get them moving. Who knows, maybe they are working on it and I have simply not heard back. The time difference and the fact that Corporal Sallo works nights alot may have something to do with not hearing back. Tell him abou this thread as well.

I reported the fraud with Luzerne Police Chief O'Donnell.(Sollo is gone, but the police remembered your name.) Our complaints are in the company of many others, and the PA attorney general has a long list of people that David Steele has scammed. My money has gone through Intuit, a credit processing center, which has recently shut off Steele's (aka Maritza Roldan's)account. If Steele keeps changing names, and laundering money through Intuit, people will continue to get taken. I would like to think the attorney general of PA will do something to stop this given the number of complaints on Steele.

Will do and good job on filing the complaint. I wonder why the Police took the message for an officer that no longer worked there rather than telling me he was no longer there and transferring me to the proper detective?
