Re: 1970 to 72 nos Gm boxed lower rear control arms.
Hi again I just checked these
These have the long" stitch"welds with a small gap I don't know if my other set has long continuos Welds or not but they are not small spot welds I had 3 sets of these I put a set on my Friends gto convert 3 weeks ago They were full length welds as they were Nos but shelf worn I cleaned them up And repainted them I wish I noticed sooner I would have sold them to you Cheaper due to shelf wear I'll check my other set for you this coming Monday ( they are at my moms house...) Thanks for your interest Dave |
Re: 1970 to 72 nos Gm boxed lower rear control arms.
I'd have to measure, but the ones I am looking for are not welded the complete length. They are stitch welded and the bead runs along side 1/2" to approx 1". The spot welds are l circular welds, similar to sheet metal spot welds.
Thanks! |
Re: 1970 to 72 nos Gm boxed lower rear control arms.

Re: 1970 to 72 nos Gm boxed lower rear control arms.
How about allowing the US postal service a chance to deliver your check? You only provided the total cost to us this past Friday evening.
We did have to make a special trip to get the money order/chasiers check that you requested. If you had a concern about whether or not the money had been sent, you could have just asked first? |

Quote from the movie Cast Away speaking of Fed Ex being late with their truck:
"First thing it's two minutes, then four, then six, then the next thing you know, we're the U.S. mail." |

( Multiple) in the old car hobby/obsession.... Lately ugh.....</div></div> Seems to be going around lately as I am hearing more and more issues with people who are both selling parts and also with some buyers. In the past I have almost always shipped an item before I received payment as long as they were a Yenko.net member but lately I am getting a little gun shy. Its a sad day when one member takes advantage of another. |

Then there are the "good guys" too. I sent Quick-Bowtie (Andy) a shifter a couple of weeks ago. I told him just send me what it's worth. He sent me twice the amount that I was thinking it was worth.
