Pics of shark clone at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I have some photos of a clone Shark that I saw at the Corvettes@Carlisle show this weekend, but I am not sure how to upload them to this site. Let me know if this works!https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use...4-img_0756.jpg

I would not use the word "clone" when describing this car. If built from mail order or over the counter parts it is surely just one of many unique corvette combos that could have roamed the streets back when.
Any history or info on the build or builder? Can you read what the label says by te right front headlight? thanks for posting.... cool flames |
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
Yea, I saw this.
What does the label say? Joe |
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
The label appears to be the emblems you see installed alongside the coves of 1961 Corvettes

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I actually did not look closely at the emblems when I took the photos. When I go home tonight I will blow up the photo and see if I can determine what the emblems say. It was way too hot there to stand around and check out the emblem details!!!

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I took pics also, have not downloaded them off the camera yet, but will also try to blow up to read.

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I blew up the photos and it appears the two short black bars have no printing on them, and the longer center silver bar has the word CORVETTE etched into it.

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
Wonder why the 2 black bars?
|
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
1961 Corvette cove emblems; someone painted the two bars black. The bars should be red and blue

Flames are cool and all but that black only rear angle shot looks fantastic!!!

I'd drive that to work every day if I had it.

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
Here are some pics of a really nice Motion Corvette at the Carlisle show this weekend. The paint and interior were really nice. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...5-img_0812.jpg

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
Those are 75-79 Nova tail lights in that thing.
Whoops! Someone else beat me to it. |
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I think they look more like early firebird or 66-67 GTO
|
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
I was talking about the other car on the previous page.
|
Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
ohhh good call ... didnt even see that car ..... but that is just an ugly tail light on the vette body ... IMO anyway

Re: Pics of shark at the Corvettes@Carlisle Show
The taillights on the black one just don't go with what we are used to for Motion Vettes.
The blue Maco, belonging to Rick Walker, is more common. |
