Hi My name is Mark and just to let you fellow Gas heads know, yesterday I traded my AC Cobra for Yenko 1969 Camaro FG 578878. She now resides in Florida in my AC conditioned Man Cave. a good day I think!

Curious as to the details on your Cobra? Restoration project? 289 car?

No a very rare 1000 series 2005 alloy bodied continuation 427SC AC Cobra CSX 1013, it was the only time since the late 60's that Shelby and AC produced cars Together, only 14 were built, I had number 13

WoW on the car as 578878 is a Jack Douglass FG Yenko known and registered here on the SYC.
Also isn't this car thought to be one of the group heading to Douglass seen in the Yenko transport pictures posted here recently?
Has this car been in other hands since him or is C'Lil the swapper and new Cobra wheelman?

Ok long story, I chased the AC Cobra last year and the only way I could get the Cobra was to trade it for my Hemi Charger. The guy who I got the Yenko from missed the deal on the Cobra, but found me and tried to buy the Cobra from me and I said no thank you, he then sold his classic cars and was offered the choice of one car from the guy who bought his cars as part of the deal, then he thought how do get the cobra from me? so he few out to California took the Camaro especially as he new it's was the best bet to get my Cobra, I gave in and the rest is history, that's about as clear as mud reading back, but that's how it happened. Yes theres pictures of the car on the Yenko truck and notes written on one of the pictures by Don Yenko and a ton of other original docs.

I just sent all the title copies to the previous owner, I hope you got them. I had copies going back to the original owner in 1973.

This stupid IPad is not allowing me load pics, however if one of you gentleman would like to go to facebook look up Mark Goodall Kissimme Florida, your welcome to liberate as many pics as your would like. Theres some cool pics of the cars in there Man Cave i just built. The Chevelle is Cool 69 SS396 Convertible that's looks stock but heavily modded under the hood, ( except for 2 inch drop).

Mark, Glad to see she got home safely! I miss her already! I have been after Marks Cobra for a while and the only way I could pry it out of his hands was to trade him the Yenko! Bitter sweet...Although I no longer own a yenko I will still hang around this forum. It is a great place for us car guys and I have to say it was key to finding history on the Yenko as well as meeting new friends and contacts. As soon as I build some more garage space I hope to add another Yenko. Mark,SYC, and all the guys I have met here and will meet, all the best!

Is this the Camaro that was in the Yenko display at the MCACN in 2012 that was parked between the Hugger Orange Camaros of T. Lucas and D. Albaugh? I think it was being displayed by Steve Drueck.
