Yenko Deuce
I am in Pennsylvania at a friends hunting cabin and while drinking blueberry moonshine we came upon the subject of this particular Deuce car . So this morning Brian Potter and I went and closed the deal . Some of you know this car..it was the cover car 2012 Muscle Car Review June issue I think. Sold new at Ammon R. Smith. Complete original born with drivetrain. Full Docs including POP. I will try to post pics. Enjoy everyone !!

Re: Yenko Deuce
What a screamin' POS! You should be ashamed for dragging that home. Unload it ASAP, even if it's at a loss $$$$$. Maybe to some dummy in, ...... Oh, ..... Illinois.

Re: Yenko Deuce
Cool. You gonna restore it or leave it as is?

Re: Yenko Deuce
Not sure yet. The cell service in western Pennsylvania is not conducive to phone or Internet.

Re: Yenko Deuce
One question....
What was the 69 Camaro that was sitting in the next stall? |

Re: Yenko Deuce
I believe a woman bought it new at Ammon R Smith, and kept it in that truck trailer for years. Wayne Bushey was the first to spot that car back in the late '70's or so, parked in a mall parking lot of all places!

Re: Yenko Deuce
Wow!!!! Very cool, Doug! I have been told that you are good at finding stuff, and since Christmas is around the corner, I believe that whole "List" thing is in order, so like to hear it? Hear it go:
1. 63 Split Window 2. 69 Camaro COPO 3. A12 Roadrunner Hardtop 4. Blackbeard's Treasure I'll take those in any order too!!! Nice find, and it was nice meeting you at MCACN!! Cheers Dave |

Re: Yenko Deuce
This is not a "find" as we've known about this car for over 20 years! The good part is that it is in circulation, and hopefully gets a dump load of photos taken to document it.

Re: Yenko Deuce
Congrats on the terrific score Doug!
Wow, what a time capsule that appears to be. I look forward to seeing a lot more photos of the car Oh, and I've updated my own thread... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...132#Post592132 |
