Since it's so cold outside...
Since this is my site I am going to take a liberty to offer up a Condo in the Caribbean for sale. I have two condo's on the Island of Roatan Honduras and I'm willing to sell one of them. Approx 3 years old, concrete construction with 6" thick walls, Wifi, drinkable water,cable tv etc. It is a 1 bedroom 882 sq ft. Fully furnished turn key condo with washer-dryer, dual zone ac etc. Direct flights from the US out of Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas. I fly out of Houston on United and the flight is 2 hours 15 minutes in a Boeing 737 direct to the Island. Airport code is RTB if you want to look up what it takes to get there from where you are. Some of the best snorkeling in the world is right out in the water in front of the condo. It is probably 125 steps from the condo to the water. We have been going there for 8 years now. Paradise. There are two main buildings with 18 condos in each. My units are in the building just in the jungle at end of beach.The resort is run like a hotel and I have my condo's in the rental pool. Both have a positive cash flow after expenses. Good info on the place in links posted.Resort is owned by a nice guy out of Texas in the oil business. Price is 369K. Right about 1014.00 per month. I have never taken any money out of my account in almost 3 years and think there is about 18,000.00 in the account. First years project was brand new so it took awhile to build up occupancy. Rents for over 200.00 per night so doesn't take very many nights of rental to cover the costs. At one point during Semana Santa last year they rented it for 600.00 per night as the Island was full.

Not many know about that little secret Island Get-Away making it real nice for those that do know. I'm not into snorkeling, but I hear it is one of the best places on earth for underwater adventures. We went there 2years ago and absolutely loved it!!! Honestly, we had never been there and weren't quite sure what to expect.......what a pleasant surprise! That doesn't sound like a whole lot of money for a well-constructed unit with a positive cash flow! Rent it and let it pay for itself! Heck, some of the cars changing hands here are more than your asking price! GLWS!

Each condo has a closet that locks with a key so we just keep all our snorkel stuff, clothes etc there. Any money the owner makes he spends on helping the Islanders. He has built I think 2 schools and a church.

Sweet spot. I went to Utila a few years ago and loved it. We were off to Roatan next but my wife got sick so we cut it short.

No he's not a car guy, golf guy though. There is a very nice Pete Dye 18 hole course on the Island with very few people playing on it.
