Survivor '69 SS396
I know nothing about this car. I live in Seattle and check Craigslist regularly for classics. This came up while searching today. I called my wife and asked if I could buy it. She reminded me that I promised not to buy anything for a year or more as I just bought two big ticket items.
I figured someone on here would love to own this car: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/6143420470.html |
Very cool. Love the black and red combo.

Sweet! What do you think Woj?

Someone in Ohio buy it.....so we can have 3 Black '69's with Red Guts at 2017 NOCC :D

If as nice as appears that ain't a bad price!
|
Yep, not a bad asking price.

Looks nice, despite crappy cell phone pics. Master cylinder appears to be an incorrect replacement, but that's no show stopper. Yet another car to refute the ridiculous "only black with red interior known to exist" claim by that COPO 69 Chevelle currently for sale.

This car has been for sale on and off for at least the last 5 years, maybe more. Looks like a great car. Earlier ads had photos of the build sheet, pop and more. I thought this car went to Alaska for a bit. There was an Anchorage Craigslist ad there for what I thought was the same car a year or two ago.
I'm in Seattle tomorrow, but don't think I'll have enough time to look. |

Bill P. - that was a quote from the crappy advertisement for the Blk/Red L89 for sale by show yr auto recently (used to belong to John H.) |

Sam, yes, that's exactly where I saw the ridiculous claim.....I immediately thought of you and Woj, not to mention others that I've seen over the years. Perhaps they meant the only COPO that's black & red, but that's not the way the ad was worded. |
