I would not really call that a low mileage ride, but still a nice car.

This 71 caught my 'day 2' eye the other day, except the car was painted in 79 (more like 'day 365 times 8').
19K original miles. And it's black!

Just the missing and correct "H" heads can cost a small fortune.

bigsixman 08-17-2017 04:40 PM

"H" heads or "D" heads for a 1969 W30? I remember the "D" heads on the small bore 400 motor.

earntaz 08-17-2017 06:22 PM

69' W-30s used "D" heads ...

Stefano 08-17-2017 07:02 PM

I was responding to the advertisement of the '71 W-30.

'72=Ga
'71=H
'70=F
'69=D
'68=D
'67=C
'66=B

Ooops -- OK ... got it. Thought the discussion was concerning the 69 models ... TAZ

SmallHurst 08-17-2017 08:46 PM

D heads are not cheap either!!! The 69 looks like it would be a fun one!!!

I'm not Olds wise. What are the E heads off of. I don't see them listed.

I believe the "E" heads were bolted to the 68 - 70 455 motors ... TAZ
