talked to him at mecum when it was for sale then. Sat he told me $175000.00
|
My friend spoke with the owner of the Black Nova.. he may have more detail. I do not know the asking price.
Original Yenko sold L-78 car. He later purchased (Jan 82?) an Aluminum Yenko Block $2400 and sent it to Jenkins Competition to build. Jenkins bill shows Feb 82. $10,935. |

But at that price you would figure he would have the correct headlight bezels. looking in the engine bay i think he had either a block heater or battery charger. not sure what the cord was for.

I looked at the car... Pretty cool ride..
My favorite though was the 68 Tripoli Turquoise Harrell/Gibb Nova. That is a cool car. My Wife and I talked to the owner for a while. Very nice gentleman and he really loves that car.. That is what this hobby is all about.... Rich |
You would think it would have the right hubcaps at that price....

Roland Paulsgrove... I thanked him several times for bringing the Harrell Nova !! Awesome |
Isn't that the same Gibb/Harrell Nova that was at SCR20?
|
I believe so... He was wearing an SCR T shirt on Sunday
|
Yes he had the car at SCR 20. Great car! Great owner!

The Black Nova has been at the Mecum sale in Harrisburg for a couple years now, was always a cool car. But it Looks much better now that he took off the mismatched 15"& 16" Cragars

The car was judged and the owner of the black Nova disagreed with the items flagged on the sheet. It then went to Bill Braun for resolution.
|
Bumper looked like a repop and so was the core support on the black Nova!!
|
The first thing I looked at was the radiator & it was a repro so I was then curious about the rest , I think it had the cheap door panels with custom seats , nice looking car tho ..
