I'd love to have that.

Was at Pavillions in Scottsdale a couple weeks ago.
|
I saw it at the Glendale Az swap meet in October. I think he was looking for 50k or something like that...Joe
|
So is it missing a vinyl top?
|
Yes,should have a black vinyl top.
|
$50k is dreaming but this is sure a cool car.
|
Neat car... even diggin' the additional stripe down the middle of the hood, and of course gotta LOVE the patina!
|
Pretty Killer car !!! Love it !!!

Cool car but Paperwork and POP somewhat confusing? Subject VIN - 124379L522031 All could be genuine but POP maybe issued to a subsequent/non-original owner from Salt Lake Utah as the Chevrolet Inspection sheet shown indicates Dealer 09/193 - Fink-Jeske Chevrolet, Miamisburg/Dayton Ohio? :hmmm: ~ Pete . |

I like it,but that's because my close friend had nearly the identical,(350HP),car in High school.
We drove the wheels off that thing, going off campus for lunch and then out after school during 1978-81..We drove it in every type of weather imaginable. He could never get the headlight doors to open/close properly, and one day he kicked one of em,and they worked. :) |

I just purchased this car and should be receiving next week in Dallas. I've not personally seen it but had several creditable people verify the numbers matching and having the protecto plate is a big addition! Seller was great and send me all requested info. Seems like a very true/honest/solid car. Thanks and looking forward to any feedback you guys may have.

Welcome to the sight and I hope you truly enjoy this car. It's almost the same as what my car was. The only difference is mine was hugger orange with a black top and black interior. Otherwise the same car. I wish I had mine back the way it was when I got it.

I remember looking at this car 19 years ago in salt lake city. The second owner was telling people it was a Baldwin motion car. We all knew it was not but any way I went to check on it one day and it was gone. Congrats very cool car.

I think the second owner had it a short time,he lived in Taylorsville suburb of SLC

I love it. Congrats. I know a lot of us would love to see some nice pics of the engine bay and anything else you want to take pictures of. I have a 69 SS396, so I'm always looking for originals to see how it was originally.
I'm sure you'll hear this plenty, and I'm sure you know, but they're only original once. Take good care of her. |
I will be sure to take some photos and post them in the next week.
