Original 837 Alt. dated 9B19 or Feb 19, 1969, has some marks on it in the area of the 8, original GM pulley.

How can you tell?

I am a Alternator/Starter re manufacture for the last 33 years. It is hard to explain but he Ford fan is much more square and pointed on the tips of the fan.

Also, the ford fan has 10 blades and the GM has 11

The grey is the Ford and the silver color fan is the Delco GM fan. The Ford fan will sometimes hit the top adjustment bracket because it is slightly larger.

Who ever buys this alternator, I would be happy to donate a correct fan.
