Flint LS6 Almost done !!!
3 Attachment(s)
It's been a long time since this car moved under its' own power, about 40 years from what I've been told. I'm almost done with it, seat belts, seats, some moldings and odds and ends. I just brought it home from the shop last week and that in itself is a good feeling. I hope these pictures will post with the file size restrictions.

Beautiful car. One of my wish list cars.

Thanks for the compliments, it's been a long road for me with this car. When I got it 8 years ago, it had most of its' original " Born with GM Parts " I painstakingly bagged, tagged and cataloged everything. I've restored and preserved every single part from the day this car rolled off the carrier from the GM plant. For the parts that I did need to replace, it was a needle in a haystack search for NOS GM replacements. At this point in time, I can't wait to re-unite this car with the original owner. As of 2 years ago he was alive and well in Charlotte NC. We have talked over the years and he had sent me pictures of the car when he first bought it. I'm not to far from the finish line and I hope Phil the original buyer will love the car when he sees it,

Here's a couple of pictures that Phil the original owner sent me, they are from June of 72' one is by his lonesome and the other is with his little sister Julie. Notice the lower rocker moldings and bigger tires and rims on the car, I have all the receipts for them. This guy saved everything, including every piece of Dealer Paperwork, the original window sticker and all his aftermarket purchases for the car, most of which where Penzoil oil change receipts.

And for anyone that really likes pictures here's another 600 or so in this link. They are not really organized sequentially like I would like them to be but when Photobucket highjacked every ones account things just got screwed up.
