It's got Day II written all over it (and in it).

Just be sure to be packing when you go to pick it up with a bundle of bills.goggles

Very RUFF part of town anyone interested proceed with extreme caution

L_e_e 08-15-2018 01:32 AM

It was RUFF in that area 30yrs ago, now it is just plain Dangerous.
2 blocks away on 12th street (Rosa Parks BLVD) there used to be some crazy heavy hittin street races there back in the day.

scuncio 08-15-2018 01:38 AM

Way bad part of town. Pack heat.

Kurt S 08-15-2018 01:47 AM

condition: salvage
title status: missing
transmission: automatic

69 Chevrolet Camaro, $15,000 Cash Only! pickup Only!

I'll pass....

ruralrte66 08-15-2018 02:05 AM

Drivers deluxe door panel has power windows. Sounds like bad part of town......

seventieshow 08-15-2018 02:35 PM

Roll bar, aftermarket pulley on alternator (Moroso?), right quarter panel edge looks like a bondo repair, remote stater solenoid on firewall, no heater core, looks like a vertical gate shifter. A real old school head knocker. Nice that they kept if off the ground. Never vandalized because you would have to be nuts to walk behind that house. Hope it gets saved.

X66 714 08-15-2018 02:40 PM

It's got the extremely RARE spoiler delete package :) Not many of those made that way :)

Is that a curved neck rad I see?

I emailed the seller and he’s quite willing to show it. So, I scoured the neighbourhood on google and spotted the Camaro sitting right there! A naive Canuck like me would go have a look at it... good thing I’m 2,000 miles away.

About 14 years too late. Motown Madman already found it.

Last I understood, some of the stolen Merollis cars were still missing/unaccounted for?:hmmm:
If you know the ultimate fate of ZL1's #'s 32, 37 & 50, please update us.

scuncio 09-07-2018 02:39 AM

Turns out some brave soul went into the hood and pulled this one out of its resting place. Still too much $ IMO.

I have seen this on a facebook group I am in. The guy claimed he paid 1500 for it. Has a 327 or 350 coded for an automatic in it. He is clueless. Kept calling it an RS cause it had blocked out headlights :hmmm:

If i had paid attention I would have realized they were the same car. The stuff he was saying was so ridiculous that I blocked most of the post.

Sean 09-07-2018 02:23 PM

I followed that post. 1500.00 is what he said he paid. I spoke to the son of the guy who died he told me it needed a lot of work and he did not know much about it was never a car guy. Lou or whoever he is is not very educated...............

Mr70 09-07-2018 02:39 PM

Am I missing something?..He went from asking 15K,(per Kurt S.),on Detroit craigslist to actually selling it for only $1500.00?

Billohio 09-07-2018 05:03 PM

Guy said its on eBay for 12,000 now.

GotGrunt 09-07-2018 08:06 PM

It looks like the original seller was the one who ended up getting robbed :D

scuncio 09-08-2018 01:38 AM

I would have been down there like white on rice for $1500...damn.

Billohio 09-22-2018 12:05 AM

Car was on facebook tonight for sale. No title!

scuncio 10-04-2018 03:03 AM

Now up for sale on Ebay in the link below. Not that anyone here is rarin' to buy this one, but if you are, keep in mind the seller states there's no title.

Funny that when it was in Detroit for sale by the Craigslist seller the steering column was intact.....now its in Livonia and the column is hacked up.

ZLP955 10-04-2018 10:00 PM

And the deluxe door panel has been removed too!

scuncio 10-11-2018 01:55 AM

Here she is, back up for sale yet again.

Seller is really talking up the 12 bolt. Personally I'm digging the roll bar but the car itself is looking rough.

Tony the seller has posted about the car in a thread over at CRG too:
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.p...ic=16944.0;all
Also appears from the latest ebay auction that there is now a title for the car?

L_e_e 10-14-2018 03:33 PM

The most interesting Camaro in Detroit is back on Craigslist....................
