Pay It Forward Donation to School?
Hi Gents,
In the recent wake of bomb scares, and the tragic anti-Semitic domestic terrorist attack in Pittsburgh, I wanted to harness my frustrated energy for good. Here is a raw idea... and just sharing this aloud. I know we all have parts we can do without. What would the community think about finding a school/program/organization (not-for-profits?) that would accept a Yenko.net donation to support the education of cars? Restoration? etc? I bet we could help an underfunded or in need program... What do you think? Dan |
I'd either donate a part or some $$ to help a underfunded program.

I'll make this a passion project and report my findings. Dan |
I would be up for it.

I guess we should all talk about it at MCACN ;)

I wont be a MCACN but keep me looped, I'll help however I can. I wish there had been an auto program when I ws in high school. But i learn a lot from reading these forums and asking dumb questions.

Good stuff gents... I'll keep everyone abreast of my findings.

Let me know what I can do to help Dan. You know where to find me at MCACN.

Great thinking Dan and count me in too! Can't do MCACN either but please let us show deprived members know what's happening. :beers: ~ Pete . |
Quick update - unfortunately I haven't been able find any school programs willing to accept car parts... but I have found programs that will accept donations. Maybe we could pool some funds to donate to charity? Does not need to be car related as long as we choose a not for profit organization.
What do you think? Dan |
Start a go-fund-me account for said charity.
