First Swap of 2019 - Novi Mi-
 

This Sat & Sun is the swap that was at the Fairgrounds for years, now it’s out in Novi at the Suburban Collection Con center, anyone going?

It’s funny how many poeople I bump into there I know. Wear a yenko shirt lol. So I know who you are. I’ll ha e. Y site shirt on. It’s a ta fender vent that has flames coming out. If you see it say hey.
Actually, at 9 am a few from my site are meeting at the Starbucks just off Beck and 96. More the merrier, lol

A buddy gave me an old Gratiot Auto Supply catalog. Crazy looking through it. Lol

The swap was good, I just loaded up on sand paper for the DA, and some buffing stuff, but I did find my buddy his missing DR side loom bracket for his 70 Lt1 Z. 5$. Gotta love it. Now he needs the metal booster line that goes through it. Anyone? Lol
Pics don’t post for me so I can’t. I got a few of the swap. I saw a lot of 69 camaro parts.

I'll be honest, I thought that was the worst meet I had been to in quite some time. Lots of Chinese tools and not a lot of old parts, at least old GM parts I cared about. I ended up buying a few things from a buddy of mine that had a space there, but that was all I could muster.

That meet seems to have gone downhill since it moved from Gibraltar. Still love the Bearing Burners meet and the Monroe show.

I loitered in Starbucks for a few minutes past 9 but didn't see you there. We'll have to meet up next time.

The swap went down from the fairgrounds, figure it’s january, theres nothing car related. Something to do. :/ I think good parts are running dry and on EBay. Lol.
I do a cars and coffee at my place once a year, your welcome to come by. I’m real close to Woodward and Sq Lake area.

I haven’t done the Monroe in a few years, I’m in this year.

There used to be an spring swap down the road in Maumee Ohio maybe 10-15 years back at the Lucas County Recreational Center on Key Street. Can't find any info on that one. Is it possible that they move it to Monroe too?

The swap in May is nice. Packard in June is my fave. Only bad thing Hot Spot is closed down the road for a coffee.

Monroe has gotten bigger since the bearing burner swap moved from the gm tech center to that park.

Autorama is prob the next thing, I’m not much into custom stuff, and you forget about the huge crowds till you get there, I used to do the auto show at Cobo so we always sneak in for free. I like the rat rod’s in the basement area the best.
