Nice car, pretty scary feedback on the seller tho.

The questionable body tag [been off the car] and the completely incorrect speedo cable routing are major issues.

If you read Jerry's report it states:
Restamp on block
Not Original 4 speed
No speedo hole where 4 speed hole should be

But it's real, 249k that retirement money

Brian Henderson posted on Facebook a few days ago he has never worked on the car. So I guess believe nothing the ad states....

Saw that, they claim it was restored by the SCW, but it was not. Fraud and should be removed from ebay.

Where does it state SCW restored it?...or did the seller just edit his ad?

Motorhead848 07-14-2019 09:00 PM

Looks like it’s been edited... but they forgot to edit the price tag as well....

... In the photos in the ebay ad, there are several photos of a DIFFERENT RALLY GREEN YENKO CAMARO at GOODGUYS

... which is a completely different car.

Is the tag questionable because it has been removed or because it bears an X11 code?

I’m guessing both. Jerry stated on the fuzzy page that Yenkos were usually always X44 and that Gary Holub (sp?) might have put a very good repop X11 tag. Plus he says it’s been off the car, at least.

Jerry also stated the car was believed by some to be a rebody but on his hidden vin inspection he couldn’t find traces of that. However, the aforementioned Muncie hole might be the reason for those rebody thoughts...at the least.

The Good guys car appears to be one of the first 50 it has a black tail pan and quarter gills but No wheel opening moldings and no drip rail moldings indicating an X66 and also has ORIGINAL Door Panels IN IT and is sans a V-TOP.
