2020
I plan on going next year for sure-when can you book rooms?Which hotel is the place to be?Long drive from here but well worth it-thanks!
Keep on Cruising! Dave |
Dave- Bob will have all of the info-once the wrap up of this show is done. The Doubletree is where the meet and greet happens.
:) |
Is there a "theme" for 2020 yet? The cars from 1970? Anything else? Just curious.
|
Fly there and back is easiest!!!
Shuttle from Ohare in minutes to any of the hotels. There will probably be a bunch of 1970 Chevelles next year :-) Ryan W31 |
Can I go...and take Sammy with me? He might come out there with a...not telling yet!

This is from the back of the MCACN Magazine that goes out before the show. Class of 1970...LS-6, 2nd Gen Camaro and Firebird, GSX, I'm sure there are others I can't think of at the moment. |
I'd like to see a 1971 GTO Judge Invitational for 2021 - as many colors as possible, including the "Last Judge" in special order 'Orbit Orange' from 2018 Barn Finds. Just thinking ahead :)

November 21-22,2020 |
The “Super Dave Crusty Cuda School of Fish Spectacular” featuring all 70 Shaker Cudas, one with each engine (340, 383, 440-4, 440-6, and Hemi), all unrestored but driving. They’ll be go-go girls, weird camera zoom angles, crazy lights, and goofy music interludes after all the bad jokes I’ll tell! Sort of like a live Laugh-In!!:bs:
Hmmmm....maybe not. Cheers Dave |
I've been talking among a lot of 2nd gen camaro owners this past year.. since we haven't had a showcase put together for a while. There is a lot of interest for the 2020 show for very special 2nd gen 1970 camaro showcase, There are lot of stellar cars who would participate. When Bob makes his announcement for 2020 I was going to post then. Well I figured this would be a good time on new years day to share it here. With Bob's approval I would like to do it? Or participate in getting something together for 2020?

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and loved it. They have a covered, enclosed walkway that goes directly from the hotel to the show. Rates were good, food good.

“Super Dave Crusty Cuda School of Fish Spectacular”...
"very special 2nd gen 1970 camaro showcase"... Both these sound fantastic...although I realize one is not very likely. |
