Stunning '69 Camaro 396/375hp
This car has been talked about recently here...but I remember seeing it years ago, just after it had been restored. Every time I see it for sale I get the itch to make an offer...but for the $75k ask I'm curious if anyone has any history on the car, or has seen the engine/trans stamps (one of the photos shows a list of features that includes a 'correct VIN stamped engine block' which I'm inclined to believe isn't the original).
All these options, plus L78, sounds too good to be true at this price. Interesting "graffiti" on the firewall. Never seen a circle with an x in it like that. Anyone else?

I would want to see engine, trans, and rear end stamping's, trim tag pic, etc, on a car of this caliber and price.

maybe it was a X-men car. Wolverine?

Mine doesn't say "yel". Mine says BYEL & it was under the black. This car has no smog either..Joe

Would white vinyl top and black stripes required "- -" paint code? Don't see a pic of the trim tag.

This car has been for sale for a while I'm guessing. Since this car is almost a twin to mine, (looking anyways) I took one of the pictures & had a friend of mine photoshop mag wheel covers on it. I can't decide if I like it....Joe

Nope...not for me. Rallye's or Magnums I would do with whatever tire the factory was using then.

They look great with any tire but the goodyears

When they say "correct engine" you know the motor has been replaced. They go to great lengths to "infer" that it's the original engine by their terminology, but you can bet the original motor is gone. An undocumented, non original engine L78 probably wasn't born that way. I carry my skepticism over from Corvette Land where many, many undocumented non-original engine 1967 435's were born with another engine option.

69 L78 Camaro...
Judging by the fuel stains on the intake this guy should get Eric's phone number. Detailing is very poor for a car offered at this price...real or not, it would be better received with some clean up work. Don't understand why folks take pictures of a dirty car :hmmm:

Agree that the overall detailing and presentation needs some work...

Since we are talking yellow cars. Here's one I wish I still had. Or maybe I already posted....
|
Almost looks like mine Charlie. Add a yellow interior, endura & XT wheels :) ...Joe
