6,615-mile '72 Bronco, One Owner Time Capsule

Given how insane early Bronco prices have been of late, this one might set the bar pretty high. I'm going to guess $110k...why not?

Imagine driving a car only 6600 miles in 48 years of ownership. It's sad to think about....

Holy moly, that oughta bring some strong bids.

Because he knows the market is gonna drop like a lead balloon when the new retro Bronco’s start arriving at dealerships!

Looks like it was stored well

Can you say Top Heavy?..I wouldn't turn that wheel at 5 MPH.

I know these have been the hot ticket for a while now, but I just don't get it. My buddy has had a few and they are certainly crude vehicles. What's that saying? "Variety is the spice of life" or something like that.

I agree. Have never seen the attraction.

I think "To each his own" applies.

Someone once told me: "That's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream" I personally don't get it. These generation Broncos were a disaster when they were new. But if it's original and unmolested, someone will pay up for it no matter what it is.

A 1985 Silverado sold for over 70k today on Bat so I think it’s safe to say, the whole truck thing continues to grow like crazy. I personally have sold a couple of older SUV’s for way more then I expected. This bronco could go for 6 figures !

All bids cancelled by seller.https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Ford-B...p2047675.l2557

I get that car guys don’t get the point of the early Broncos, but if you’re an outdoor person and owned one back in the day, I think you’d get it. I was able to get in places with mine that you’d be hard pressed to get into with anything less than something similar. Can’t remember the number of times I pushed snow over the hood and blocked the windshield, getting in, or out, of hunting or fishing spots.

Always wanted another one, just never made it a priority and now they’re priced crazy. Looked at a super nice original one last week, but still not enough of a priority.

I had a 70 half cab with a 6ft. Plow. That thing was awesome.
302 and a 3 speed.

Just like the muscle cars and model Ts its all about memories. Either they had one or or wanted one and now they have the money to purchase at crazy number. In addition some of this is the me to movement, if they have the latest popular truck or car that is hot then hence they are cool because they own one. Personally I never understood the attraction to the Broncos or the Volkswagen buses that won't even run the speed limit against a headwind.
