Lipstick and makeup come to mind here. Just a once over and many things are obviously very poorly done, or very wrong.
That was just a once over and I haven't looked at the engine or underside to pick it apart. Already seen enough to make me think it's a put together car with nothing substantial being offered here. Walk away and keep looking is my advice. |
Looks to be a early pre X code TT. Be very cautious at that place. JMO

1badZ28, the TT posted in your pic is non OEM. Stay away.

Thanks, Thanks,
You guys are great....Thanks for all the info....

ditto the above, especially that the trim tag is a fake.
Really crappy body work and paint. At least they painted the grill silver... but forgot to paint the headlight buckets silver. Car did not come from the factory with console gauges. Cheap generic rear springs. Not even a good attempt at restoration. If the tag is fake, then likely everything else is as well. |

----Generally speaking, Mershons is in the business of selling driver quality Corvettes and muscle. Some are better than others, some are worse but really nice cars are few and far between......Bill S

Seems to be more '69 Z/28's for sale than Chev ever produced!

Yes, I have noticed that there is a lot of 69 Z/28s for sale and very few RS/SS or base Camaros. Wonder Why ?? :) :) .. I have the feeling that there are very few true Z/28s out of the number for sale. Need to have some real documentation/history and/or certification along with some eval from the gurus on the forum before I spend my money....Thanks Again Gurus...

If you are really in the market for a documented unmolested 1969 Z/28, keep your eye on the Supercars/Musclecars-For Sale Forum here. They show up on the average of about one every 4 to 6 weeks. Be prepared to act quickly as they are high quality cars (unless noted) and sell very fast.
The pricing on the car in this thread should have sent up warning flags. There is a reason for it's low price. Restored original born with drivetrain, documented cars are about $80,000+ |
Thanks, I missed out on member Timcamaros Z/28 RS 70K Fathom Green born with, well documented car. I waited to long and it sold to a dealer. You are correct about being ready to act quickly. I was getting my ducks in a row and I missed out on a nice car.... My bad...I will keep looking...
