Not getting notifications
 

I thought this forum had died, as I haven't gotten any notifications of new posts all day. Came on to see what was going on and there are several new posts to threads I'm subscribed on.

Agreed….I’m not getting any notifications anymore.

This is the most difficult site to get instant notifications. I’ve had problems with it since they changed it a few years ago….something to do with cookies. I’ve made adjustments yet nothing changes.

I truly enjoy this site, so maybe we can get it resolved.

I'm not getting PM pop-up notifications.

Thanks guys, I was thinking I was the only one and have gone over all the settings here and on my pc to no avail.

Mitch, I'm not sure what changed. I forwarded this issue to the programming administrator. He is looking into the notification issue. Do you have a date when the notifications stopped? I know there was server upgrades/maintenance done recently.

This may help determine the issue. When I get an update I will post in this thread.

I have the programmer looking into it again. Not sure why it's happening again.

I feel bad for having to report this again, but not getting notifications...:confused2:

I had stopped receiving email notifications as well. I found by removing all notifications from subscription and then enabling them for just a few subscriptions that I was once again receiving email notifications. I wonder if there is a notification limit to remain below?

Well, that does make sense. I have a too many open too and will go turn some off, if I can figure out how.

I removed a lot of my notifications and still get nothing……very frustrating.

Regarding notification issues, I spoke with the programmer and unfortunately he has been dealing with Covid. He will provide an update shortly.

Short lived, got notifications for 2 days and now they are off again.

Same here, had an influx and then gone although received 1 yesterday.

Got 8 notifications today...hoping it keeps working.
