'74 Motion Camaro on Lost Muscle Cars
I was able to get Fritz (former owner) to post about his old Motion.

Could you imagine buying this car when the price of gas just went up 300%? Whew.
|
Very cool. What’s your friend’s name that was the OO?

Does he have any original Motion paperwork to help identify the car?

Love it! There's only a few '74 Camaros I've seen modified by Motion. This one looks awesome! Would love to know where it ended up

What was the trans also any word if it had a Hone-OD? Pipes appear similar style to the ones on Member Thomam's '72 Motion Chevelle as this thread... https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=107516 :beers: ~ Pete . |
Try the Insurance company you insured it through? They keep very good records for a very long time.

What an awesome car. Hope it turns up

The insurance company is out of business. The car sold locally so hopefully someone will recognize it.

Just realized a couple Motion ads I had saved are likely this ‘74 Motion Camaro Fritz had to sell for school. Interesting is one ad’s from 500 miles away in Macon GA w/ different Ph.#, maybe where he was going to school?:hmmm: He must’ve driven it there/back or been busy enjoying it as note mileage doubles in the month between ads. Any updates on this one Wes? :beers: ~ Pete . |

Great detective work, Pete!

I'm surprised the trail has gone cold on this one.
|
The trails been cold for nearly 50 years.
I put together a display for Mopars in the Park featuring White Bear Dodge sold cars. I had been looking for Alan Page's old '71 Super Bee for about 9 months leading up to the show. We eventually found a very similar car and had it lettered up. While I was standing at my table a man walked up to me and said, "you know that's not Alan's old car, right?" I said, "yes, i know". He then proceeded to tell me how his best friend died in that car hitting a cement bridge post shortly after buying it off the White Bear Dodge lot. There's a chance this car never made it much more beyond being sold. |
