MCACN Official Host Hotels 2023

Ya know it is never too early to make your plans!

We work very hard to make sure that we can accommodate not only our participants, but also our very important spectators that join us for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show.

As always, we are the weekend before Thanksgiving, which is November 18-19, 2023. We return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Illinois, in SUBURBAN Chicago area, just minutes from the Chicago O'Hare Airport. This location, with the wide variety of hotels, restaurants, the outlet mall, access to all kinds of transportation options and the Rosemont Entertainment District is perfect and serves as a great place for the whole family, even those that may not want to spend the entire weekend in the convention center.

Sooooo....we have signed contracts and negotiated great deals at SEVEN area hotels. FIVE are directly across the street, one is a few blocks away and one is a couple miles away and is providing free shuttle service.

Rates start at just $121.00 per night at the Crowne Plaza. The DoubleTree has the Friday welcome reception and the Embassy Suites has the MCACN Nightly Managers reception, (back upstairs this year!). ALL are nice, clean and geared up for us with special MCACN exclusive extra perks. ALL also offer MCACN special rates for parking.

These are the ONLY authorized Official Host Hotels and know who we are and what we are all about.

You can read about all of them here www.mcacn.com/hotels and there are direct booking links to lock in your rooms now. Most are live now, and the others will be added very soon.

AS always, the DoubleTree, the Embassy Suites and the Crowne always sell out first and last year we filled well over 2,000 room nights at our Official Host hotels. Don't hesitate, as once the rooms are filled, we will not have any extra "hidden" rooms.

As stated...it is NOT too early to make your plans, and we are excited to host another stellar event!

Also of note; we NEVER solicit your hotel business via emails or phone calls. If you get any email or call saying they represent MCACN, they are FAKE and most likely scams.

THANKS:

The MCACN Team

we got em!

bashton 02-10-2023 09:24 PM

Links are now up for ALL SEVEN Official Host Hotels.

Never too early to lock in your rooms, especially for the DoubleTree and the Embassy, as they are always the first to sell out.

Thanks!

What a great event, Bob. I love the time of year, also, just at the beginning of the Holiday season and in my old neighborhood.

I booked two rooms next to each other at the Hilton……so glad to get this done early! Thanks for everything you and your crew do Bob to make this the best muscle car show!!!

Kurt

Rooms are booked. First time attendee last year. Had a blast. Looking to meet more people this year. Thanks for the help.

Done - thank you!

bashton 03-14-2023 05:44 PM

A "heads up"...

The DoubleTree is already tracking way ahead in bookings for MCACN. I know quite a few people like to be right in the middle of all the action, so if you want to be at the DT, I recommend booking asap. The Embassy Suites is also tracking ahead, FYI.

To lock in your rooms now at any of our SEVEN Official Host Hotels, go to www.mcacn.com/hotels.

Thanks;

Bashton

Never been but, always wanted to go. This time is the year the wife and I are going to commit to going. She's never been to Chicago and, in addition to seeing all the amazing cars, she hopes to be able to see some of the sites.

Which hotel would you recommend for someone who wants to enjoy the show but, would prefer peace and quiet in the evening?

X66 714 03-18-2023 07:41 PM

I've stayed at the Embassy twice & really like it. It's not a direct tie to the cat walk but just across the parking lot. The resturant is good, not too pricey. Breakfast is good. Special order omlets are better. I'll be at that one again this year....Joe

I've stayed at the Hyatt twice and it's quiet at night. There will be some jet noise, but the rooms are quite well insulated, so it's not objectionable. There is a walkway directly to the convention center from there. The breakfast buffet is $25, so I walk over to the Doubletree and have breakfast at the Bistro for about half that cost. The king rooms are fairly spacious.

I've stayed at the Hyatt three times, and I'm staying there again this year.

I just booked 3 nights there again, Freddie. I kept looking at the Crowne, to save a little money, but the enclosed walkway from the Hyatt pulled me back. Walking outside last year was brutal, and I've lived my whole live in a colder climate than Chi-town gets. I'll bring my winter parka this year so everyone can enjoy the warm weather...

We stayed at the Crown the 1st time. The walk down the street with car passing at 40 mph was brutal. Great hotel other than that...Joe

Jonesy 03-20-2023 09:04 PM

I booked my room at the Double Tree. Easy walk across the street. I have stayed at Hyatt also. Cant wait to go again this year!

bashton 03-21-2023 10:32 PM

And that's why we hammer out deals with seven different hotels!

Each one has its benefits and great pricing. Read the descriptions and see what meets your needs the best.

Second timer

Staying at the Embassy Suites across the street. Had a great time last year. A little overwhelming being a first timer. This year will be a slow role thru the entire show both days. Looking forward to meeting new people. Where is the best place to hang out on Friday night and meet? Trying to get a schedule/ plan to best see ALL that is offered. Thanks,
Jeff

There is a meet and greet at the DoubleTree Friday evening. It's in a hall to the left of the main entrance. Not sure on the hours.

Some people manage to get into the infamous Gibson's for dinner, but they must have reservations or get there really early. I've never gotten past the reception desk with a very long wait time.

Jeffp920 03-22-2023 12:33 AM

Thanks for the info. We’ll have to meet up when there. I used to live in Wisco for 40 years. Now down in Georgia. See you soon and good job on your Camaro. Paint jail is a bummer.

Generally speaking, most make reservations well in advance for Thursday-Sunday evenings.

I'd suggest doing so asap, as they also sell out well in advance!

If you are referring to the hotels, as of today there is availability at all seven.

If referring to Gibson's, you'd need to contact them directly.

Thanks;

Bashton

PLEASE NOTE:

It has come to our attention that once again, some unscrupulous people are attempting to solicit your MCACN hotel business under the guise of being a part of MCACN.

THESE ARE FAKE and in no way, shape or form affiliated with us.

If you receive any emails or calls regarding MCACN hotel booking that is not directly from us, delete or hang up.

You can book your rooms at special discounted rates at any of our SEVEN Official Host Hotels through the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals website. We have contracts with all of them, each has additional special perks for MCACN participants and spectators along with reduced rate parking.

These are available to our participants AND our spectators.

Here is the link that explains each, covers extra perks, has the MCACN special rates starting at just $121 per night at the Crowne Plaza and has the direct booking links. www.mcacn.com/hotels

Thanks;

Bashton

UPDATE!!

Hopefully you know how hard the MCACN team works to make sure we can accommodate you at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, whether you are a participant OR a spectator.

With that being said, we hammer (and I do mean HAMMER) out great deals at our Official Host Hotels. With the demand increasing every year, (we topped 2,200 room nights last year!) we signed contracts with SEVEN different hotels for 2023.

FIVE are directly across the street, one is a few blocks away and the other is a mile or so away with a FREE shuttle to/from the building, with $5 daily parking.

Somehow, well actually, through some begging and groveling, we have managed to secure a few more King rooms at the DoubleTree. This is "party central" and I think they tossed out a few pilots (cough-cough, Sorry A12 Pilot!) to accommodate more MCACN people. Seriously...we take over the entire hotel and most of the city of Rosemont!

I can not stress enough that if you haven't already, BOOK YOUR ROOMS NOW!

The Embassy Suites, the Hyatt and the Hilton are 110% SOLD OUT.

We have some King rooms just added to the DoubleTree.

We have availabiity at the aLoft.

We have VERY limited availability at the Crowne Plaza (but just a few!)

We have decent availability at the Senosta.

When these are gone, they are GONE and we do not have any hidden "extra"rooms...not even for Charley!

USE THIS DIRECT LINK, as when it is close to being sold out, the dudes in India have no idea who we are, and with all of the groveling, even the desk people may not be aware of any new updates we are able to secure. www.mcacn.com/hotels

Want to make sure everyone is taken care of!

THANKS...going to be another stellar year for MCACN.

Bashton

This statement is really saying something, because Charley owns the Hotels.

CS: “Crew Schedules, Hotels, this is Tabuli. How can I help you Captain Monlar?”
CM: “Hi Tabuli, Captain MOLNAR. Laying over in ORD today, and looks like no hotel is booked. What happened? We usually stay at the DblTree in Rosemont.”
CS: “I’m sorry, Captain Mopar, but we’ve been displaced from that hotel due to an antique show.”
CM: “Antique show? When?”
CS: “November right before Thanksgiving.”
CM: “Are you referring to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals? That’s hardly an antique show. The people that own them, yes, but not the cars. Regardless, that’s in November….it’s September 7th!”
CS: “We were instructed to not divulge any further information at this time. Your new booking is in your schedule. Have a nice day Captain Mulder” (click):hmmm:
CM: “Awesome, well, let me see what it says. 211 W. First Street…Elmhurst YMCA?!?:bs:”

See yous guys there! Fully rested along with equally tired aviator Woj! Although we prefer the Embassy due to free stuff like happy hour and breakfast since we are cheap pilots.

Cheers
Dave

That's good, Dave. As I understand it, this is the biggest weekend of the year for Rosemont as per Gibson's Steakhouse management.
