"4K was not used until Mid April. Early L78’s 03B/C through 04B were 4P cars" :)
|
Not sure about the TT.
Hmmm 🤔 |
Scratch that.. looking at the wrong tag..

That tag is a fake.

Can I be the last one to make the comment? “Fake tag” |
It's not even a "good" fake...look at the "O" in "Body". That is one of the earlier fakes.

My TT on the white car. I’ve been told it’s real. Heck it might be a fake!
There is something about all 67 Camaro TT’s that stands out but I won’t say it on an open forum. Doesn’t have anything to do with the letters. |
Its real

... How many documented 1967 396/375 camaros have been found with "4P" on the cowl tag ? :hmmm: ... |
I’ve got info on a very early 67 L78 convertible in West Virginia that Sherman G. shared with me years ago. He said it’s TT said 4P but it’s PP designated MQ as the engine. I’ll go through my old notes from him and see if I can get some more info on the car.
I think absolute firm documentation of 4P will be hard to get because it seems there’s not many cars that have docs. |

No, he knew about several L78 cars in OH, WV and Ky..
The Bat Car was a 4th week of May car, a week prior to mine. Both Norwood built. This 4P car I’m talking about was ermine white, black top n interior, base SS. We always talked about me coming to WV and we’d go look at this car but that never happened. I have no idea where it’s at. |

Sometimes you even get flagged for not being "constructive", right Mark? |
Do you guys want to hear more about this 4P L78 or do I need to hush?

Your totally right Lynn!

Okay, I found the vin to the car. I won’t list the complete vin because by now it might be someone’s project or complete car
You can take the first three numbers of the last six numbers of the vin and they’ll tell you the approximate month and week the car was built. I don’t have my books handy so one of you first gen Camaro guys help out . Those numbers are 208 |

The actual 67 Pacecar was a L78 with a 4P.
|
I looked in my old books to figure a build date of the 4P convertible I’m talking about but was only able to come up with a month based on the 208 numbers of the vin. It’s the month of April or 04. I’m using an old Camaro Corall mag dated 1991.
I’ll keep searching and maybe can figure out a week in April it was made. Later, |

I know of about 10 4P L78 cars.
Richard, does the white car have it's original block? Can you send me the rest of the VIN? I know of two 7N208xxx blocks..... |
