Cleaning out magazine collection

10 Attachment(s)
Over the Christmas holiday I was given some really crappy health news which is leading me to clear out some things from my attic so my wife won't have to go up there later.

I never realized how many car magazines I had accumulated over the years. I have lined the entire floor of my den with magazines of all titles. Some go back as far as 1983. I started to separate all of my Muscle Car Review magazines and it is quite a pain in the neck.

Before I continue with the title and all of the others I have, I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in these (I don't want any money for them).
If no one is interested would anyone have any idea where I could donate them or are they just headed to the recycle bin?

I have attached a few pictures just to show how many magazines I have and the various titles that I have.

I also have some sales brochures for Corvettes, Mustang, Viper and GTO that I can give away.

A few more items. I also will be posting some things I saved from the times I had gone to Atco. I have a lightly used Atco sweatshirt, some dash plaques from times I have participated in the show hosted my the Philadelphia Modifiers as well as some tee shirts from those shows.

Prayers that your health issues resolve themselves.

Best of luck with your health.

I grew up (age 2-10) a little South of you in Mays Landing, I have a lot of family there. Anyone who is a McGowan around there is related to me.

Ten minutes ago I was looking for something in my "magazine" closet and glanced through a Car Carft from 1972 that was sitting on top of a pile of others. So many old magazines that I need to look at more often.

Best of luck with your health issues, Dave. I wish I lived closer, I'd pick some issues up

Your piles resemble the piles I have downstairs. Thoughts are with you as well.

Sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope for all the best.

Where are you located?

I would like the muscle car magazines, but would have to be travelling semi close by to make this possible.

I am in Southern New Jersey; you are welcome to any of the magazines that you'd like.

Hoping for good news on your health issue Dave.

I had boxes of old car magazines that I had moved twice and didn't want to move again. I placed an ad on Marketplace for free magazines and expected someone with a side hustle of selling them on ebay to call. What I got was an older guy who was delivering them to VA hospitals. He said he would actually rotate them around to different locations also.

It made me feel good to think someone else would get some enjoyment from them instead of just going to a recycle bin. I sent him off with some gas money too.

Here's to better health, Dave.

Seems like a lot of guys are interested in the magazines. They should find they way to a good home here. I wish you the best with your health issue.

Best wishes Dave- a few years back I had a big collection of 50's 60's and 70's car magazines-I ended up donating them to a local automotive college-they were thrilled to have them.
Keep on Cruising!
Dave
