New Project

Just sharing some winter adventures with my sYc friends. Another project car is the last thing on earth I need, but found a good deal on a 67 RS/SS and drove out to Wisconsin with my son to reassemble it and load it on the trailer. I recruited a couple high school friends to help get it into a moveable state. Got stuck in a blizzard in western Michigan and stayed in a super creepy motel. Good memories! Now I have to figure out what to do with it.

Very cool Tony!!
Do you still have that 70Z?

scuncio 02-09-2025 05:27 PM

Thanks Lee! I sold that Z to a friend, ironically the guy who turned me onto the car initially.

I have a buddy that says to me all the time, I’ll probably die with a project unfinished. I tend to agree, not to suggest you won’t get this one done, lol.

Looks like a really good start.

"Got stuck in a blizzard in western Michigan and stayed in a super creepy motel."

Sounds like a GREAT father / son road trip. Your son will never forget it.

Yeah, we already reminisce about the motel and the crazy icy roads…glad we could share this memory.

It’s an interesting car, fairly well optioned, looking forward to getting the NCRS letter indicating the selling dealer.

Yes, it was actually a pretty harrowing drive for a while. He's not usually the encouraging type, but he looked over at me while I was trying my best to keep the truck on the road during a particularly scary curve on I-94, when the trailer was constantly getting loose on the ice, and said 'you got this, dad!' It's those things that I will remember the rest of my life.

Unfortunately no, but I have a fresh 12.5:1 350 short block sitting around.

Thank you sir, your car was my first inspiration when the seller sent a pic of the trim tag!

Your tag has a few more letters on it, but other than the vinyl top, very similar.

Post up some pics of the body, when you get time. From what we've seen, so far, it does look to be rather solid.

The 350 4P cars are nice. My first Camaro was a 4P. This one has great colors, gold on a 67 is cool 😎. Keep us some some pics coming. 👍
