Interesting reading on another site.
Okay, it's not about Chevy's, as it's a Mopar site; but very entertaining post by a fellow you all know, Dennis Tuttle. The thread is about the 1 million dollar 71 Hemi Cuda convertible sale, bought by him?? Thread is http://www.moparts.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/053328.html

Does this mean The 1971 Yellow Hemi Convertible that was in Ottis Chandlers collection,is now worth $2,000,000.00???It is verified to be one of 9,and the very last one off the Assembly line.Supercars,do you own this very same car today?

Re: Interesting reading on another site.
As we all know, the "sale of a car" never happens until the money changes hands. Milton called me to ask a few questions after the guy left his place. Anyway no money has changed hands, so until that time, it can't be said the "1 million $ sale" has happened yet.

Re: Interesting reading on another site.
buyer beware, this guy has a --- history of misrepresenting cars, promising your money back, are just starters, look at ebay, i bid on one of his cars and got 30 emails to stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Re: Interesting reading on another site.
Guys, remember Tuttle and the 67 and 69 clone Yenkos he bought in Scottsdale at the Kruse Rawhide sale, then later put them in several auctions and on eBay as real. Here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma we all know to stay away!!!!!!!

Re: Interesting reading on another site.
Maurice,
Thanks for the vote of confidence, but he is way out of my league. I can't write a "good" check that big, unless of course Kevin was back'in it |
Re: Interesting reading on another site.
if it goes through and i bet it never will, it is not his $$$$$$$$$$$, its some backers as he will tell you on the phone, call this guy and you will see what he is all about. i asked if i could have an inspector come look at the car and his reply was as long as it wasn't anybody local. he said everybody local tries to get into his business, he says he has to keep cameras and watchdogs, yeah right!
BTW, stefano and maurices reference to kevin was the west coast kevin. |
Re: Interesting reading on another site.
Yeasterday, I checked out that "other forum site" [that Kevin S. posted] and it appears to be a confirmed sale for $1MM. Now I see D.T. has the blue '71 Hemi 'Cuda convertible advertised for sale on his web site. I don't know how to post the thread from that forum, maybe Jeff C. can post that link.

Re: Interesting reading on another site.
I will accept a 1mm check from anyone named Kevin on this site. But if its from K.H. it must also be endorsed by his wife.
