Re: X-11 YENKO FOUND!!!!!!
Thank You everyone,
I'am still in total shock that my brother and i have finally got my DREAM car. It is an O3B , 72 72 PNT, 711 INT,X11 TRM. Brian Henderson has heard that this is a white stripe car. It has had half quarters put on it back in the 80's.This car was found as a RS/Z-28. So it is staying at ARONE's AUTOBODY in HOMERCITY,PA. to have its NOS quarters and tail pan put on before taking delivery. Then it is home to Fishkill,N.Y. to put it on the rotissere.I will post some pictures of it when I get the photos to my buddy who scans them for me. |

Congrats Brian!
Interesting that it also has Z23 (special interior group) on it too. http://www.mryenko.com/yenko/Yenko006.jpg - that almost looks like console mounting holes (the black dots on the rear part of the tunnel)?? |

It is amazing what the cars go through over the YEARS. Only if these cars could talk.I have all the metal to fix her before she heads up to n.y. Frank of ARONE AUTOBODY in Homercity,Pa. will handle all of that with Brian Henderson.I would like to post a SAMPLE of Frank's work with the BADDEST COPO that will be at SCR6.And that is his own personel car. Lemans blue X44, white int. M-22 car. I will post some before and current photos when I go through my pics. |
Re: X-11 YENKO FOUND!!!!!!
Charley,
He knew what he had but not quite what they are worth. When they did the half quarters on it back in the 80's. when cutting the quarter off , one of the Yenko crest's happen to fall onto the ground. His father was the original owner to Brian Henderson's Fathom Green and Black stripe car. |
