I HAVE HEARD SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE '' DANA '' CARS, OTHER THAN THE TAG FRAMES, ARE THERE ANY OTHER CLUES TO TELL IF INDEED IT'S A ''DANA''.

Steve, i'm new at this, and i don't know what the NICB is, or does. i did think DANA would have more emblems, stickers, or such on his cars....

Kasey I do not think Dana had any emblems or decals. Just the plate frames.

Dana did use emblems on the fenders on at least some cars... I think the one in the old magazine road test had them... they were individual D A N A letters, all capitals, unlike the Capital/lower case font of the plate frame. I have some pics of a 67 Dana car and a pic of the Dana dealership somewhere in my stuff, it was in a packet of stuff mailed to Don Yenko from their dealership. I'll post them later.

I'm not sure where Dana got the design for their "letters" but the font looks very close to the individual I-M-P-A-L-A letters on a '59 Chevy. If there was a D and an N in IMPALA, then you'd be in business. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
