where to get chevy tow vehicle stripes?
 

I noticed several silverado trucks at scr8 with nose stripes that have engine size or horsepower on them in the split. where did you get them? seems to be a mid west thing cause I haven't seen them out here..

I noticed that as well, and I've never seen them on a truck here in WA state. I really liked the hockey sticks on Mark Hasset's truck. 375 hp

I've seen them on new trucks at the dealership, so they should be able to get them for you.

Henderson had them made. They keep asking me when I will put them on my truck (that's Henderson's white truck above), but my truck is Charcoal Metallic so I'm not sure what color stripe....hmmmmmmmm.........

Mr70 has the answer you knew you were going to get on that one marlin. I am with you though, on the charcoal a chrome sticker would look nice with silver being second. mine is silver so I am wanting black stripes to match my deuce and z/28.. a guy has the stripes on ebay for around $125 but suggests an rss emblem were the HP or cubes would normally go.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Do you think it would stand out enough? My truck is the earlier charcoal, which is lighter than the current color available. Our Trailblazer is the latter version, which is almost indistinguishable from black. Just for reference, the running boards on mine are black. I went with silver to get as close to the trailer color as I could get. After seeing mine installed, I think the horizontal stripe needs to be thinner, more like the other trucks shown.

Hey, guys I was thinking of getting one of these hockey stick style stripe kits for my truck but I can't decide on a color. So, I figured that I would get your opinions. I have a 2003 Silverado 2500HD extended cab in arrival blue. It has black fender flares (which I may paint body color), chrome nerf bars and bed rails. What do you guys think would look best(white, black, or a custom color which I'm open to suggestions). It also has the 6.0 in it what do you think would look good in the place of the engine size?
