Pavillions (not) cruise shots...

I went to the 83rd cruise last night, instead of Pavillions. There were two reasons for this...number one, I had to work, so I got off too late to go to Pavillions.
Secondly, we went to 83rd to pass out flyers for the upcoming Harley-Davidson car show next Friday...so I was working after getting off work! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Hey Sam (Mockingbird812)...recognize this car? I talked to the owner for about 20 minutes. He's a super nice guy (whose name now escapes me...it's hell getting old.) After talking to him for a while...he said "Is Sam the guy that I gave a ride to his car? He's a super nice guy." I agree...

In 1970 the GSX was only offered in Apollo White or Saturn Yellow.

That is a really nice looking car. I think the black top is so ugly it looks cool... (that make sense?)
Can anyone shed some light on that license plate? Or is it some mail order catalog repop deal?

In that "Mopar Row" there is a back shot of a 67 GTX I think. If my memory serves me right, it is the same colour as the cover car on the original sales brochure - Copper? with Black stripes https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Howdy Bruce. Missed you at the Pavillions. Terrific show last night, just busting with folks and rides. I sure do remember that fella. I think I posted on this car during the local Good Guys show. This fella had been tracking this RR for 20+ years. He knew where it was but had to wear down the owner to buy it. Cats lived inside it, but the car is all there, solid, very well documented. Think this fella got a pretty good price as I recall. BTW Bruce, that last shot you took of the red "Rod" looks like a post card. I know that was not easy to get considering the lite. I sure wish we had that much interest in car shows in my area. This is the only way I get to see cool cars.
The GSX must be a '71 or '72. They were available in more colors those years.

Kasey, I am ashamed to say that I do not have any pictures to share from the "Pavil". A thousand apologies. For penance I can describe to you in excrutiating detail each car that I saw that would be worthy of your valuable attention.

Sam, I was actually sitting in my chair in front of my car and said to myself, "Self...that would be a good picture"...My wife handed me my camera and I took the shot while still sitting in the chair. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

The camera I have does EXTREMELY well in low light situations...I just hold my hand as steady as I can.
