The first model I ever built was an AMT '59 Ford convertible. I guess that was the day I fell in love with decals because I've been sticking them on everything I own since then!
Going through an old motor manual the other night I found these old Hurst decals I haven't seen in years. Here is an old autometer decal I bought. I scanned it next to the newer style. I like the old one best.

I had that on a shirt (in high school) but the phrase was on the front of the shirt...and the supercharger picture was on the back of the shirt...
