A bit different type of car show that I attended!

I know this may not be the 'normal' type of car show that people here are used to...but I was invited to a early morning get together in Scottsdale yesterday...and even though I was the only "American Muscle" that attended...I had a great time. After all, car people are car people!

I ended up meeting Terry (the guy that invited me in the first place) and then also meeting up with a lady whose mom was transplanted the same time as Holly.

I had a great time. I still don't know what half of these cars are...but it's cool to learn about different 'stuff'. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

So enjoy! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

A line up of Italian muscle! Terry's car is the silver 308 second in from the right. He's looking for a 67 Camaro (his first car) soon.

Thanks to Terry for inviting me. These guys meet the first Saturday of each month in the morning hours...and most of these guys have american muscle, too. Terry is planning an American muscle get together in the coming months https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

By the way, there was a black Ferrari Daytona? that came in later...was one of supposedly 14? built...didn't get a picture of it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif

Nice shots as usual Bruce, thanks. That took some nuts to bring a Chevelle to that get together, did they like your Chevelle ? Anyway it is my "Best of Show", it's hard to beat classic muscle.

--------Bruce,,,Thats a 365 GTC. It was sort of the forunner to the Daytona in a lot of ways as it had nearly the same motor. A very collectable F-car and one of the few I have ever coveted. Thanks for all the great pics,,,,,,again!!!.........Bill S

Great pictures Bruce. It's amazing how some of those classics look dated, yet the Pantera's still look as modern as any new exotic to me....and they are still muscle cars at heart with those engines.

Anyone know what type of Lambo this black car is? I like the exhaust - but then it still looks like a big 'ole butthole....

Can't go wrong with a bunch of ferraris and lambos - I'm gonna own one b4 I die. The Lambo's look awesome, but I think the trendy styling lacks the staying power of the Ferraris - they are cool not matter what year.

I like those Panteras too, don't know much about them other than they have Ford engines??

Re: A bit different type of car show that I attended!

It's a Murcielago; it's the big boy Lambo with a V-12 Audi motor. The little yellow one is a Gallardo (Audi V-10). All the Lambos are named for famous Spanish bullfighting bulls.

That show looks like the street in front of my house on any given day during the summer when all the Emirates guys are in town to avoid the desert heat, so let me see if I can help with some ID.

1. 365 GTC
2. 308 GTS with Lotus Esprit behind it.
3. 355 GTS with Lambo Murcielago behind
4. 512BB (my favorite 70s and newer Ferrari) with Lambo Gallardo behind
5. 550 Maranello with another GTC behind
6. 328 GTS with another Maranello behind
7. Dino 246 (note cool Italian plate) and F355 behind
8. Testarossa (my least favorite 70s and newer Ferrari!)
9. Challenge Stradale (based on F360)

After that, Bruce pretty much has it down...

Thanks Jeff (and everyone else who helped)!

Jeff, I actually talked to one of the guys at the show about the pictures that you posted of the Emirates guys cars... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

The Berlinetta Boxer was definitely cool.
