1960s Drag Racing Toolbox...craigslist find
I thought this was a cool find - bought it from the original owner and spent some time talking with him about the old days racing Pontiacs out of Stan Long Pontiac in Detroit.

Craftsman "Crown Top" I assume?
I've got two of them from my grandfather, and have picked up another couple over the years when I see them. I can't help but like them for the nostalgia factor. |
The history in those stickers is incredible! Nice find!
I have one of those Craftsman boxes, a Christmas gift full of tools at age 14. That and all the other good old Craftsman boxes were manufactured by Waterloo Industries, two miles from my house. WI headquarters is still here but manufacturing moved South decades ago, it's a storage facility now. |
Very cool!
