Anyone know what intake this is? GM Part?
Does anyone know what this intake is off of? Looks like a 472 intake but there is no casting number. The rest of it looks good to me but thinking it had to have been a LT-1 intake to have the snowflake but no part number or perhaps a GM parts intake sold over the counter?
Thinking of tumbling it and using it but would like to know what it is? https://i.ibb.co/RNP9xY4/IMG-3704.jpg https://i.ibb.co/h8sLLB5/IMG-3705.jpg https://i.ibb.co/WDqPM9D/IMG-3706.jpg https://i.ibb.co/q99x9x5/IMG-3707.jpg https://i.ibb.co/7tGhX69/IMG-3709.jpg? |

It’s a early issue 1971 Z28, with the cast over oil fill tube hole, late 71 and 72 up had the cylinder numbers on runners. Take bottom shield off to check date, that will tell you.

Norcam did you make your own tumbler?

Should have it Vapour Blasted. Don Fergin @ Universal Cycle in Calgary, tumbling kinda doesn’t look natural, makes them to dark. JMO.

This is one of my tumbled manifolds.

I may have found another 472 so perhaps I'll clean this one and offer it up to someone with a 71 Z.
Thanks again for the info. |
Probably a replacement 116 intake, 1970 LT-1 usage.

With the cast over filler tube boss, I’m going to say it’s a 3972110 intake. The 3972116 intake would have had that area machined
