engine is out of a Chevelle. No proof of anything.
This is the typical BaT car that buyers pay big money for just because of the look

ya but that photo with engine stamp shows the ultra rare flux capacitor!!!!

the427king 05-04-2022 09:05 PM

JD used to be a chevelle motor

Yes, CON VIN stamp would indicate it's from a Kansas City built 69 Chevelle....but then we all know that Kansas City built 69 Chevelles did NOT have the CON VIN stamp on that pad, don't we? Stupid is as stupid does

Crush 05-04-2022 10:26 PM

Kind of surprised no one has pointed this out on BaT?!

Lynn 05-05-2022 12:21 AM

Anyone that points out fake tags, restamped motors and the like get raked over the coals for "ruining the hobby". They claim real car guys don't care about such things, and the numbers guys are just in it for $$$$.

I quit casting pearls before swine. Gets you no where.

When did they switch from stamping the VIN at the pad to down by the oil filter? The reason I’m asking is the VIN on this block is very early in production…..19K301568 would only be the 1568th car built.
