MCACN 2019; 50th Anniversary Displays

There have been quite a few great idea's for special and invitational displays with a 50th Anniversary of the 1969 model year theme. Of course, we could easily do the entire show with great 69's!

Confirmed for 2019;

Class of 1969 Invitational; As always, we will host the 50th Anniversary of the model year, which allows us some flexibility to spotlight a wide variety of American Muscle and Corvettes.

Post Body Chevelle Invitational, Hosted by Dan Vasic. As you know, Dan does a great job coordinating special displays for us. He has already confirmed over half of the cars that will make up this display featuring an even dozen of these rarely seen Chevelles.

Wing Car Warriors; Yes, the wild winged Daytona was launched in '69 and of course that led to the Plymouth Superbird. This display will not only feature the street versions, but some very high profile and legendary race cars. More on this later, but suffice it to say we will maintain our reputation for hosting the best of the best and the rarest of the rare with this display!

Camaro ZL1 Reunion; How do we take this one a step further than what we did several years ago? By including the RS/ZL1! We have one confirmed and a second pending already!

Dodge Super Bee & Plymouth Roadrunner A12 Reunion; Yes, the rumors are true! We will be hosting a very special display of the M-code 6 pack/6 barrel Bee's and Runners! This has been in the works for well over a year now, and it is sure to be huge.

Of course, we are just getting started and as always, we welcome your thoughts and suggestions. Let's hear what YOU want to see!

Bob,

I would like to bring my 69 Charger next year if possible. It’s still in process of being repaired from an accident 2 years ago but should be finished well before next November.

Our BIG Feature display up front will spotlight the hottest offerings from Ford and Mercury, with an emphasis on the Boss 302, 351 and 429's along with the Cougar Eliminators and CJ Cougars and Cyclones.

Fords on the right...Mercury's on the left!

We have some incredible rarities joining us that have rarely (if ever) been previously shown.

The Corvette had EIGHT (8 !) engines, including SIX big-blocks available in 1969 - never as many before and never as many after. One of each would make an awesome Vette display! And how many in that room will have seen the real ZL1 Corvette up close - will it come out to play?

Met with Jim Mattison last week to lock in details for our 2019 Ram Air Invitational display at MCACN for 2019, which he will host and coordinate.

We decided to "split" the display over the next two years, focusing on the finest and rarest examples of the GTO for 2019 and the Firebirds for 2020. These displays will be a historical step back in time, spotlighting the evolution of these incredibly significant automobiles with an even dozen examples.

With the unprecedented demand for participation for our show in nearly every area and the incredible amount of "new" and first time shown cars coming to us, the overall focus for MCACN will be on quality, not quantity as quite honestly, we have been turning away cars for several years now.

I guess if we have to have a problem, that is the one to have!

2019 is going to be another truly outstanding year for MCACN. no matter what make or model you lean toward.

Thanks;

The one interesting facet of MCACN is it has brought so many of us together and “out of our very own comfort zone“.....as far as only focusing on one car make and brand.
I hear it every year from car guys opening their horizons and saying.....I have to get me one of those....and then a few years later, they return to MCACN as owners of a new Make and Brand Muscle Car.....MCACN Rocks :)
