1966 El Camino 4 Speed

9 Attachment(s)
1966 El Camino owned by my father who unfortunately is selling due to health issues. Nicely restored and ready to enjoy, the truck features a fully rebuilt 350/4 barrel with aluminum intake manifold, headers, and hittin’ cam. Full dual exhaust with nice sounding mufflers. The engine sounds and runs strong and with an abundance of power for the truck. Backed with a Muncie 4 speed and Hurst shifter this truck is a blast to drive. 10 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. Equipped with 4 wheel power disc brakes and power steering, it’s really a joy to drive. Well appointed inside with matching factory blue vinyl bench seat and optional N34 simulated wood grain steering wheel that is original GM and in mint condition. New carpet and headliner. Everything works including the AM/FM cassette radio, accessory hazard lights, speedo, tach and more.

The truck still retains its original spare tire and wheel behind the seat as evidenced in the photos. It doesn’t appear to have ever been used. This Camino is detailed throughout including a custom made solid oak/stainless steel, drop-in bed floor my dad painstakingly made himself. This can be removed for cleaning or for anyone that prefers the plain steel floor, which has been covered in color keyed spray in bedliner. As you can see from the photos this El Camino has never been abused and has always been a clean, well cared for truck. Base coat/clearcoat paint really makes it stand tall, and it’s tough to see in the pics but the blue has some great metallic that really sparkles in the sun. True Marina Blue/Blue interior car as designated on the original firewall trim tag. Bumpers and all trim, including factory optional bumper guards are in excellent condition. Riding on 4 new 15” BF Goodrich Silvertown redline radials and American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels with Motion Performance center caps. An eye turning truck that gets lots of thumbs up everywhere it goes. Ready for anyone to drive and enjoy immediately.

Everything works. Clean PA title. Needs nothing 100% turn key.

Available for inspection by appointment only in Ebensburg, PA. No trades of any kind. Message me if you are a buyer.

Priced to sell.

Sorry why it has to go but what a beauty also deal for something you can start enjoying right away.
Love the Steelies/Dog Caps too but TT's put it over the top, especially w/ the cool Motion centers.
Best to your Dad Joe also anyone here lucky enough to take this sweetheart home.
:beers:

Me too ….. love that interior.

The factory spare wheel and tire is really cool.
I would consider keeping that rare spare tire.

Could you even get red line tires in 1966? I thought they did not come out until 1967, and that was on a Corvette. I do agree they look much better than white letters.

I believe redlines were available on the SS396 Chevelle in 66, not sure about the El Caminos. But I agree, this wheel & tire combo looks amazing on the Elky :worship:
