'63 Corvette #s FI Convertible, Orig Paint, Stored Since '75, 1-owner til 2019
Man...is this one heck of a find. Great color combo and looks pretty unmolested.
Purchased new by an Air Force guy and was only driven about 60k miles. $65k isn't peanuts, though...will be interesting to see if it sells here...I suspect it sells offline. ----I gotta say I like this one, Tony! car has a bunch of good points. I'd still have to have someone qualified to look it over of course, but these cars are disappearing. Had a twin, but it was red outside. Also had an exact twin except 340hp. That one was a really great survivor. Loved them both! I'd be in at around 50-55 if I only had the room and the strength to do another resto. Always loved doing 63's......Bill S

I wonder what the frame and cage look like. Not enough photos to determine if there is significant rust.
If it's solid, I would just sort it out mechanically and drive it the way it is. A lot of people might not like having that extent of wear, but for me it's just right. Plus I wouldn't have to worry about one of my kids scratching it. |
