That's my old car that I found in 1984 in Miami and restored over the next year. I then debuted it at the 1985 Mopar Nationals where it won Best E-Body and was photographed for a bunch of magazines.

He has the original owner story kind of mixed up. It was actually rumored to have been owned by a Miami drug dealer who sold the car, then stole it back a week later and drove it into the ocean off Miami beach during a police chase.

The G-Man refers to an owner subsequent to him. ;-)

I called him and corrected him on it and offered him the original photo album I have of the car. Seems like a nice guy. He has two 1971 Hemicuda ragtops as well.

Funny thing about the photos. My son is now the same age I was in that photo back in 1984. Only he does not have my mustache gene despite his constant attempts at growing one.

Thought the car went through a hail storm back in the day too!

No hail storms in its history that I know of. All the horizontal surfaces of the body were fine. As a Miami car it did have weird corrosion in strange spots: it had a rust hole in top surface of the hood, of all places, and underneath the upper part of the cowl. But the floors were perfect with all the original orange paint intact.

Is there a listing of the 17 cars available somewhere? I've seen a dozen of them over the years. There are 5 EV2 Tor Red cars that I know of. I think there were 2 GB5 Blue cars and the rest are 1 of 1 colors. Most had black interiors, but I think at least 2 had white interiors and 1 had a tan interior. I believe at least 4 came with Shakers and at least 2 had Billboards. Is there an official breakdown of the colors and options out there somewhere?

This, but I dont think it is too accurate. Several duplicates, missing VINS and not nearly as many real shaker hood cars. As far as I know, 300626 was the only real billboard 4-speed car made and the highest option count car, by far.

My two prior cars were 361946 (the car I sold to Steve Juliano) and 300626 (the car in this thread).
