Always enjoyed reading / listening to him. Very inspirational and especially given his tragic accident in college.

Smartest most level headed guy on TV.

Had no idea this happened to him.
Seems we're hearing more & more about this happening to others,at least I am.

Ditto. When he debated someone, no screaming talking over or insulting language. Just a pure common sense intellectual.... RIP

Such an Great Man. His life was so similar to my best friend Mike's life. Both injured during their freshman year of college. Both had very similar spinal cord injuries. Both continued to live life to the fullest and chase their dreams. My friend Mike never slowed one bit. Family, Career, finished his college education with his masters. even drives a custom equipt van for the last 25 years. Always with a smile. Never questioned why this happened to him. I watched Charles many years on various TV shows. And I noticed his labored breathing was so similar to Mikes. It wasnt till I did a google search on him that I read about his injury. We can all take a page from Charles book for our own lives. Remember friends: The Glass is Half Full , Not empty. ROB

I always had a lot of respect for him - good objectivity. Godspeed.
