I like it.

I have always liked these cars. Love the black and gold, especially with the gold interior. However, it seems whenever one comes up for sale, the seller has unreasonable expectations of value.

It would be different if it were a high performance model, but 210 horse 327? Assuming a PG trans... but don't know for sure. It isn't even an RS.

I worked at Gandara Buick in OKC in the 70's. They sold a car that was dubbed the "Mini Riviera". It was nothing more than a two door Regal with an aftermarket padded vinyl roof and aftermarket porthole type quarter windows, coupled with three "Mini Riviera" badges; one on each side, and one on the dash. Think a used 70s "Mini Riviera" would bring a premium over a stock 70s Regal. They are rare. Rare doesn't always translate to valuable.

I could go with a small premium over and above what a good clean 67 327 PG car would bring. The ones I have seen expect two to four times the $$.

I HOPE this is a no reserve auction, just so we can see what it is really worth. I fear it has a reserve, and unless there are TWO folks that MUST have one, it will be a no sale.

Will see. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to be proven wrong. Just my 2 cents. Hope I am not stepping on any toes here.

LOTS of dealers made up there own special version of whatever car they were trying to selling. There have to be at least 50 different kinds of dealer specials (mostly pre1970 Mustangs) which almost 100% of the time consist of nothing more than an appearance package with special order paint and some dealer made emblems.

This Camaro is still owned by the original buyer which I am sure is thinking will increase the value.

The car will have a reserve when it hits the auction block and as you stated, it will probably be much higher than anyone is willing to buy it for. Because what it is is a 1967 327/210 HP PG Camaro with some added bling.

Such cool cars and this one may be the best remaining BP but you guys are right and not being a MkIV will hurt come bidding time.

Love to hear more about Chevy Dealers other than Gorries that actually sold BP cars as mentioned in the article also specifics of the 12:1 CR single 4-Bbl. 427 w/ 435 Hp...paper #'s for advertising and stock L72's?:hmmm:
