I was in awe the first time seeing this car in a magazine and then in person. This article is from MCR Dec 1986, and has had several caretakers since then.

Who's that Steve guy that owned it???

Love the 'cheerfully refused offers of 40 thou' note, when/what did it eventually sell for Steve also reach most recently? You've likely mentioned it all here before but very cool it was the last Hemi Cuda 'Vert! :beers: ~ Pete . |
Cheerfully refused 40K but stupidly accepted 54K. LOL
You can see the detail photo of the trunk panel where I drilled holes and installed a "hemicuda" emblem instead of the stick-on "Cuda" emblem. I think it is still on there after all these years. People started thinking it was something the cars were supposed to have after I did that. Kind of like that certain 1970 LS6 Chevelle with the "450/SS" on the bumper pad. :-) I remember that "2-RARE" license plate. I didn't think TOO-RARE was all that hard to figure out til some lady at a carshow seriously asked me if that meant it was half a Ferrari (4-R-A-R-E) ? |

And I still have all this stuff in case anyone of you eventually gets the car and wants a cool souvenir broadcast sheet (the car had 4), a dozen framed magazine covers, or two photo albums of reference material of what a 15 year old hemicuda ragtop looked like when I bought it and disassembled it.
