Restored '69 RS/Z Crossram, Expensive
Nice car but $120k is solid COPO territory. Would be interesting to see what kind of docs this one has.

Hate to start taking pot shots at such a pretty car, but there is a lot to pick at considering the asking price.
Besides, cross ram with manifolds and smog? |

Agree with you, Lynn, numerous detail issues. Hard to see it scoring 994/1000 at National level as the listing states; wonder what the event and class was. |

How could it a "numbers matching car" unless they have the POP? |
The ad states "added options" for the cross ram and hood. That is one of those vague statements that I despise. Does that mean the original buyer checked those boxes on the order form or that somewhere in the last 40+ years someone "added" those options to the car? If the latter, than you are buying a nice RS Z with a ~10K manifold, carb and hood (depending on those authenticity) additions. Without original docs, there is no proof.

The cross ram & hood were never options. They were over the counter at the parts department. In the VCCA world, this is considered a modified vehicle or personalized vehicle & would not be judged as a restored vehicle....Joe

Car was on ebay back in 2002 in AZ. Not an RS and none of the drivetrain was original.
