Canadian COPO Camaro Help Needed!

This one is also for my father. He is looking at the Canadian COPO over at World Wide Muscle (Fathom Green car). The Vin # is 124379N661324. Any information on the car would be great! Also, just like the Z-28, please make a list of items that are not correct for the car. Past owner history, or other information would be even better. Thanks very much guys!

Have to agree with Pete...this is a very nice car. I saw it at a local show a few years ago and was very impressed (heck, and I don't even like '69's all that much )

I have VIN numbers here to a couple of Canada COPO cars that I have no idea of their status, found, unfound, owner or not. Have a Canada GM file on both. 124379N657805 Lemans Blue, and 124379N657371 Frost Green. If these can be of help to anyone let me know.

Matt: Next time send me the Canadian VINs and I'll cut you in if I find the cars I'd run these two, but I'm sure guys are lined up at the DMV already!

Motown,

I went to the Copo Connection and printed out a whole list of information regarding the parts #, engine #'s and such. Is there anything else out there I can get my hands on?

Dan,
It will take you hours to print out everything at Camaro Research Group. Takes a while to fully learn how to navigate around the site but well worth it. Go to their bulletin,"COPO427: The Relentless Pursuit Of Acceleration". You can thank Kurt S from this board, he is part of that group and they are very thorough in their research. When you run out of stuff over there let me know and I will send you a different direction.

Last time I checked, that car had the original motor and bum! Can't remember on the tranny. Go to the "user list" here and look under the name Mark. You can get his e-mail from there and contact him for info on this car.

I have confirmed that mine came from BA as well. There is another (blue) one in town that is BA too. Both it and mine are both RS's. BA seemed to sell a few.

Funny, Mecum link say SOLD $165,000? I know buyers premium, gets added to shown price, but that's 10% I thought? So did it SELL for $150,000 and $15,000 BP added?

Danzo 11-06-2020 12:02 AM

Would be 150K plus the BP. Must have sold in 'the bid goes on" portion after it crossed the block.
