I bought an NOS balancer from him on ebay. A little slow to ship, but got it and was fine.

Doesnt EBAY have a $20,000.00 fraud policy? Anyone ever use it?

Re: EBayer issue....

Yeah, I bought a so called Big Block Chevy Deep Groove crank pulley he advertised about 2 years ago. His description said "Deep Groove Crank Pulley not 3955290", "survivor, not repo," So what else would you think it would be? He sells a lot of Chevy pullies uses all the Chevy key words in his auctions. So I say it can only be a #3955291AB L78-LS6 deep groove pulley. " He says the people I want to bid on my auction know what there lookin at." Also says he won't be around 3 days before the auction ends to answer any questions. So I take a chance and bid $127.50 and win it. There were other bidders (Chevy guys) that also bid on it. After I win the auction, I ask JEFYROCK for the stamped part number on the pulley. He refuses and says I should have asked before the auction ended and got real nasty when I told him I wasn't paying. He then files a claim for a "Non paying Bidder" on me. So I sent him his money and the over priced shipping and I get the so called Deep Groove Crank Pulley 3 days later. I opened the box (insured for $200) and guess what I got? A FORD 289 Crank Pulley with one deep groove and one standrad groove. His picture listed with the auction was poor but it did appear to look like a BBC Crank Pulley. After several very nasty emails to him he still claims he did nothing wrong, and refused to give a refund for a mis-represented item. It got so bad that he banned me from sending emails or bidding on further auctions. He also refused to resolve it through Ebay Square Trade. JEFYROCK is a Jerk and Rip off Ebayer. Those are nice words compared to what I called him back in Oct 2003. Beware of JEFYROCK and bid wih caution. Email me if you need more info about this transaction. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ffSucksToo.gif

It always amazes me how vague people describe stuff on E Bay.Using keywords like "not" and such...if they know what they have and are not trying to be slippery they would put exact part numbers and descriptions...then only the people who are looking for that will bid...instead they make is a cat and mouse game...
